Announcing the Chapter of the Week (CHOW) 1 Year Anniversary Celebration!

Hi everyone!
We're pleased to announce that next week is CHOW's 1 Year Anniversary here on the Hobbit board. Therefore...
 We’re going to have a party!!!
Please consider this to be your invitation to celebrate the Hobbit movies and CHOW with us.
Who: Everyone.
What: Various topics, from quizzes to ‘favorites’ lists, and beyond.
When: Starting ***September 12th*** (next Friday).
Where: The Hobbit movie board.
Why: Because we love parties!
Have an idea for a party game or fun activity? Want to make some tasty (visual) treats to pass around in celebration? Talk to us! PM cats16 and DanielLB if you have an idea you'd like to make happen*.
Remember, there's only ONE WEEK until the party. Time is of the essence for those interested in helping out!
For everyone else, we would still love to see you stop by and join in the fun! Mark your calendar!

CHOW Rewind: AUJ: Azog Attacks.

As part of the party celebrations, I will posting a special CHOW Rewind thread. The AUJ chapter Azog Attacks was never posted in the original run, so we will be rewinding to that chapter.
30. Weekend of September 12th - Azog Attacks

I'm sure there are plenty of opinions regarding this chapter ... whether it's Thorin's smoldering good looks or Azog's non-canon time-bending abilities. 
Time permitting, I will be putting together a couple of other things for the celebrations.

I might pose a few more general questions to everyone, concerning their relationship to the films and how they think about them. It seems that we do talk about them here a lot, but don't consider as much to talk about how we talk about them (if that makes sense).
So, more directly--I have no firm idea yet! But things will come, to be sure.
