Kinda pretty and creepy/odd at the same time. It sort of fits in with the concept that Thranduil is almost a part of the forest, but thinking about spiderwebs in someone's hair makes me all...um...twitchy/shivery. And *cough* what is up with him having scrawny little stick legs? Odd.Crazy

Eh, looks to me those scrawny pins are supposed to be spider legsUnimpressed

AAAAAAWWWWWW!Heart I love how excited he was about little Thorin!

He certainly was very taken with baby Thorin. Think he mentioned it too on one of those interview vids in the SDCC subthread 1 or 2 threads back.Smile

Would have been cool if there was a baby Thranduil too.

And I must agree with this a full 100%. LP as Ronan is scary, what a wonderul character he is. I do hope we'll get to see more of him in the second instalment. I know he's actually not suppose to be there, but seeing this is a Marvel movie and everyone who gets whacked off tends to make a comeback in the sequel, makes a girl slightly more hopeful of a return from our favorite Galaxy villain.

     The hair [In reply to]

I think you might be right, though it's hard to tell with the low res picture. But to me it also seems as if his hair is pulled back real tight, getting held back with clips and a presume a lot of hairgel/spray. At least the sides don't appear to be blond, so that tends to make me believe the front isn't blond either.

I remember OB having his hairline shaved back for the wig. Thank God they didn't need to do this with LP's (would be a shame for the hair really).

Oh btw I just found this other gif where you can see the hair before the wig gets put on.

'Escaped?' cried Aragorn. 'That is ill news indeed. We shall all rue it bitterly, I fear. How came the folk of Thranduil to fail in their trust?'

'Yes,' said the wizard. 'Some of the scouts have been sent out already. More will go tomorrow. Elrond is sending Elves, and they will get in touch with the Rangers, and maybe with Thranduil's folk in Mirkwood. And Aragorn has gone with Elrond's sons. We shall have to scour the lands all round for many long leagues before any move is made. So cheer up, Frodo! You will probably make quite a long stay here.'

Well, I try to. Not that I see much response usually, aside from Kerewyn and Eruvandi usually. But there does seem to be views for them. So I guess there are lurkers just happy to take. So thanks for replying at all. Really appreciate it. Smile

What's a Woodland Weekend? Well, *points to lexicon in OP* Tongue It's really just something I started naming the posts I made with tons of URL for Pretty! of Thranduil, and LP, and others, like Legolas, and even that disagreeable (among other things) Dwarf. Shocking I know. But well, what can I say: there's a diverse bunch with diverse pervs here.Evil

And these are full of URLs instead of pretty because it gets to be a REAL pain to follow TORn rules when putting images up.

So... I guess you do need to revisit the old threads. I think they start from TAIII.

Love Legolas' look in this pic Heart He doesn't look all too happy about the filthy Orcs, but he does so beautifully. Just look at his shiny hair (no doubt inherited from his father) and flawless skin *thud*

Just stated I love gif's, and this one made me laugh for quite some time LaughLaughLaugh

Welcome to the havens, Lurker! Now we can prepare for the trip to Valinor together!Smile

And there are many paths to tread
Through shadow to the edge of night
Until the stars are all alight.

Oh how fantastically dorky he looks, so cute!!! Heart
And I'm not even going to talk about those arms, it should be illegal for him to wear those tshirts.

Ah the famous haircut I heard so much about. You know what, I like it but I'm not crazy about it. I just am obsessed with boys hair, and the more the better Cool

This gave me another very good laugh. And it's all true! We are some sick little pervs, but there is just too much beauty to behold so can't. stop. lol.

And you know what. Since you've put so much effort in those WW, here's a little pic to show you how we feel about that:

I'd very much like to (especially as it is the first time this is to happen during my stay here on TORn), but I don't know how often I'll actually be able to make it there now that yet another school year is about to kick off.

You'll have fun in school Smile which is more than I can say for workCrazy

And yes, I think the discussion is going to be very exciting and interesting. I missed the one on CoH as I hadn't read it yet (still on my to-read list). I just hope I can keep canon straight since sometimes I do mix book with movieEvil

oooh... means I just may have a chance of catching with you eh? Well, let's see how it goes. If you get there first, at least I'll know where to find a place to kick my heels back when I do get there myselfSmile

I'm a lurker. Fan of both books and movies; it seems I have severely misnamed myself... for the moment.

Yes! And there's that PD BTS pic and the SDCC pic of him besides Dwalin... I think it's safe to say LP is VERY TALL.

LOVELY portrait of Leggy for you, in case you've not seen this before

And I think he rocks the mohawk if there was a modern AU

Wallpaper?

For now, under the starlit night, and betwixt the darkness of blighted boles, mayhap one needs only a prayer and a thought to look and see...
