You can't use the site you're trying to use to host an image. I think your next good bet is Photobucket.

Re: number of images in footer. Any response from a mod supersedes my response but I asked Altaira about this when I was offering footer images for the history wiki.

At that time, she asked that we keep images in footers to no more than two at a time. If your footer contains images and text, please take a moment to make sure it is laid out in a way that takes up as little vertical space as possible.
