...but there is no plothole. If Saruman can activate a storm miles and miles away from him, then Sauron would easily knock a few eagles out of the sky in the heart of his power. Maybe PJ can show this by including an eagle in the Battle of Dol Guldur and have the black shadow toss him out of the air...

It's just Tolkien's substitution for a string of choice f-words that Gandalf said. Given the circumstances, can you blame him? But people always love too look deeper than they need, and search for hidden meanings, even when there is no need. Which in this case, I find fairly funny. No further! Family-friendly forum.
