BotFA: What themetic songs from your collection? Can't Post

I just have feels for Faith No More's Falling To Pieces as Thorin's theme. He probably also would blast Ugly Kid Joe's Everything About You at Thranduil (and Bard) FrownTongue

Also Faith No More's (me fan Smile) War Pigs for Dain, or the whole shebang in general.

Saruman probably started his plans to DO THE EVOLUTION and make his own army right about this time too.

Mirkwood's theme? GNR's Welcome to the Jungle.

So what songs in your collection evokes BotFA themes?

Fan of both books and movies; it seems I have severely misnamed myself... for the moment. But call me Lurker.

Laugh Thrall Wars!: What business do Elves, Dwarves or Men(?) have with drooling thralls, yea, with smartphones in tow, unto the slopes of Erebor? ... oh, yes, the Hobbit's lingering in some shadows, ever ready to swoop to the hairy rescue. Take cover if you dare!

My alternative soundtracks apart from Howard Shore [In reply to] Can't Post

have been heavily influenced by some awesome fanmade videos on youtube.

So, if I feel in a heroic mood... two steps from hell
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=syG_UN-yRPw
(Heart of Courage/ on Thorin)
or
Les friction

If I am in a very romantic mood...Heart
again two steps from hell
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R98kbGQ1nTQ
(love suspended.. on Kili and Tauriel)

or within temptation
https://www.youtube.com/...HlLbgdv9tgbG8Uf_lRgw
(Forgiven...)

But if I think of BOFA and of its sad bitter ending...

within temptation again...

(Memories, and its silent tears....)

Last but not least, again from within temptation the video which has deeply moved me (and it still does, every time I see it) and which has made me fall in love with the King who could have been but was never meant to be...
that is..

How could I forget about Thranduil? [In reply to] Can't Post

Of course I have found something interesting about him as well..

One for "badass" Thranduil
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uL344bm9B2o

the other for funny/fluffy Thranduil

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7rzkhNTIxE

and even if this is just a cover of Sweet Dreams, the original interpreter and composer was Annie Lennox, one of the great lady singers of Middle Earth...Wink

Bonus: if you like Lee Pace (I really do) there's a funny and romantic video about him tooHeart
