nope, other than Galadriel kissing what looks like a dead Gandalf. [In reply to] Can't Post

They might be saving the white council/dol-guldur scenes for when the film is released.

not sure if he died [In reply to] Can't Post

but if he did it would explain perhaps why he turns white instead of ash after the battle with the Balrog.

They dont want to show all their cards on the first go lol

They will show some White council probably in the second trailer, I'm just happy we will see Galadriel in action.

Man i am so pumped for this movie.

He certainly isn't death [In reply to] Can't Post

probably just unconscious. I too find some similarities between this kiss and the scene when Gandalf heals Thorin on the Carrock though to be honest I don't like it very much. Gandalf is again showed very weak and his conclusion in DOS was one of the few things that really bothers me in that movie.
I was always hoping that he will somehow escape Dol Guldur after learning of the Necromancer true identity, maybe fought some Ringwraiths on his way back and then report everything to the White Council. At that point he would manage to convince them (with Radagast help) that it is time to attack.

I disagree [In reply to] Can't Post

If Gandalf had gotten away unscathed from his confrontation with Sauron in Dol Goldur, it would have seriously devalued the strength and threat of Sauron.

I feel it was entirely necessary to have Sauron overwhelm and "defeat" Gandalf through imprisonment. Especially for audiences that are coming to this movie having seen LOTR. They wouldn't be able to fathom that Gandalf could fend off Sauron, the very Sauron that almost destroyed all of Middle-Earth in the LOTR's trilogy.
