I'm excited for it. I have to admit I didn't know anything about The Guardians of the Galaxy until Marvel announced they were making a movie.
From everything I can tell, I'm not alone... seems like they are new for a lot of people.
Hollywood could use some new characters/storylines.

I know nothing of this world, but the trailers look so goofy, I just have to check it out. I plan on seeing it this weekend.

and the mix of Sci-Fi, space opera, and comedy hit all the right notes for me.
I also really dig the visuals I've seen so far.

Probably not - and that's weird, 'cause I TOTALLY love Marvel Movies, and I watch "Halt & Catch Fire" religiously, in part due to Lee Pace. But this movie just looks silly to me, I think I'd rather re-watch "Serenity". Maybe at the discount cinema in a month or so.
