Right here.
Not all those who wander are Lost Darkness must pass. A new day will come and when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer.

Finally the marketing machine has gotten going, I quite like getting these images rather than the teaser straight away.

I hope they keep coming! I wonder where this scene is. It looks like some trees in the background. I hope Gandalf doesn't have to push the elvenking into helping out the survivors of Laketown. But then, Thranduil already has his armor on, so it's likely from the lead up to the battle.

It seems like this is at The Battle of the Five Armies yet Gandalf's staff has reverted back to what it was at the beginning of AUJ. Strange.

You can see a Deer statue which is very similar to what we have seen previously in Dale. I think we can presume that the people of Lake-town all flee and take up residence in Dale after it is destroyed by Smaug. Thranduil turns up with aid - perhaps he thinks the Elves and Men can retake the Mountain over 13 Dwarves and 1 Hobbit. But war quickly follows. I've heard that there is a third picture yet to come - featuring Bilbo - it might be a poster or a promo shot. Don't hold your breath though.

Why on earth does Gandalf have his old staff back? It was destroyed in Dol Guldur! I'm really not understanding how this can fit in...

I don't think that's Glamdring. Is this a flashback?

I actually wonder if Gandalf might have some choice words for Thranduil, before Bilbo ever arrives, or after. If the old wizard were to see Legolas brandishing Orcrist, for example ... words of chastisement may follow.

Maybe it's a flashback, a request from Gandalf to Thranduil to fight Smaug, an event during the time of Unexpected Journey. Gandalf disappears many times after all. I don't want to believe they've made such a big mistake like this.

I don't believe that the makers would make this kind of mistake with Gandalf's staff. There's got to be a reason behind this.

Is that really Glamdring? I can't be sure because of the angle of the sword.

But this would beg the question, why another sword before Glamdring? But if it's another sword before Glamdring, it's a relief to me, and also, i would love a flashback like that.
