Yet another coffee painting :)

I've finally finished my painting of Gandalf and Radagast! I started in January, working on it on and off and finally finished it a few days ago. I've only used instant coffee and water. It's taken sooo many hours. Here's the scanned version and some pictures for scale and details :) http://imgur.com/a/3rllb

Most folks do not think of coffee as an artistic medium. However, that is true with many materials!

Yeah, a lot of people have questioned it and say I should use proper paint. But I love working with coffee, and I haven't given up on oil or acrylics ;)

That is gorgeous! I've never heard of painting with coffee before, but I love the results.

I love to view the 'in progress' images too. You are very talented, it must be a wonderful feeling to complete a piece like that and be able to have such a fine finished work. Gorgeous!

The only 'art' I've ever made with coffee is drawing patterns in the foam, or a pattern of coffee rings. This is fantastic. I must try coffee painting myself some time. :)
