Observation on Elronds neck Can't Post

In two scenes where he is comforting Arwen in TTT and ROTK, one thing always stands out to me, and thats Elronds neck!! Tongue

When I look at it closely there is hair on it! It kind of looks like my neck 3 days after shaving it clean Blush He has got very light stubble, in fact I wouldnt even call it that! If you dont agree about the hair, then you should be able to agree with me, that Elrond has a very manly neck Wink

Is this purposely done to show that he is half elven? Or is it just evidence of lack of makeup on Hugo Weaving?

I believe that Azog and Bolg are possibly the only two orcs who may be an exception to the typical evil nature of an orc. Azog had brought up his son, well enough that he actually acknowledges him as his own son. That is a first for any orc. And Bolg sets out to march upon Erebor in vengeance of his fathers death. How many orcs will Try and avenge another dead orc? Most will just forget about the dead one. This gives me hope that Orcs, have some traits of good in them, even if it is small aspects.

Probably a makeup error [In reply to] Can't Post

But the point about him being half-elven might well have some validity. Also let's not forget that certain Elves (apparently ones who reached their Third life cycle), were able to grow beards, such as Cirdan. Wink

"What did he use for rope?"
"Elven hair. From my neck."

This is by far the funniest thing I've read all day. Thank you, Meneldor, for a good dose of laughter! // [In reply to] Can't Post

"Love woke me up this morning
With a memory
Love came and whispered a story
That awakened a dream,

I am a dreamer, take me higher
Open the sky up, start a fire
I believe even if it's just a dream"

Reminds me of [In reply to] Can't Post

That episode of Fairly Odd Parents when Timmy wished that no one had to shower (or something like that).
