So I can't plan until I'm back, but put me down for a game please!
I was going to write an essay for the 60th Anniversary TAS, but I won't finish it in time. I might be able to turn it into a game though ... Failing that, I can pull together a FOTR themed "Guess the Phrase Game", like I did a couple of times last year.

time, but if not, I'm very willing to do a short edition myself. But! I'm going to be incredibly busy that day (29th) and the next and won't have time to post it, although I can have it all ready to go.
Could someone else do the actual posting? I thought we'd try to keep it to 2 pages if possible.

Is supposed to be splendid! Fog on the Barrow-downs? No way. A flash flood on the Loudwater? Unlikely. Frost on Weathertop? No chance.
I can help pull together a weather article, providing the TWS (Tolkienia Weather Service) supply me with some charts. *Checks diary* Nope, unless the Hobbit trailer is released that day, I'm pretty certain I am free to post it as well.

Tell you what, if your regular team isn't available (real life happens!)... and if it's ready to go... I can post it!!
I won't have time for editing and such ONLY because I'll be hosting a little party ;) working my rl job all day AND *geeky hand clapping* I'm supposed to be fetching my 15yo granddaughter from Baltimore to come and stay with me (in Michigan) for most of August... and I might be going out to get her very close to this party (11-hour drive one-way). Mom (my daughter) hasn't done the fine-tuning on the schedule yet.
You want to talk about a Tolkien, anime, Dr Who, Buffy (etc) fan... my g'daughter is a chip off the ol' gramma ;) She recently had her own private LotR marathon... extended version! *rubs hand together* We've got a LOT of plans already!

I've got some "oldies but goodies" in my Brainteaser file, I can look through those and post one appropriate to the occasion!
Or would folks prefer a MadLib? (Or would someone else like to work up a MadLib?)
