Interesting find at 4.32, in Vlog 13 Can't Post

It seems to me that we may get a scene of that lady in laketown who notices the dwarves first, fighting in dale. I came across this brief 2 second shot from vlog 13 at 4.32
What I think it is, is simply, the director guy (forgot his name) showing the woman what to do. He is Charging at an orc with a spear. So im guessing that that woman is meant to do the same thing?

Thoughts?

I believe that Azog and Bolg are possibly the only two orcs who may be an exception to the typical evil nature of an orc. Azog had brought up his son, well enough that he actually acknowledges him as his own son. That is a first for any orc. And Bolg sets out to march upon Erebor in vengeance of his fathers death. How many orcs will Try and avenge another dead orc? Most will just forget about the dead one. This gives me hope that Orcs, have some traits of good in them, even if it is small aspects.

SEE stuff [In reply to] Can't Post

Maybe we finally get to see in the EE, that the city is actually not all asleep when the orcs around Bolg are sneaking in.
So that there is some resistance.
Also good to see in the possible EE-scenes-YT-Video postet yesterday.

Dale not Laketown [In reply to] Can't Post

Boldog's reference is to a scene that takes place in Dale (not Laketown), which will be part of the Battle of the Five Armies in film 3.

There is another interesting shot at 4:24 [In reply to] Can't Post

A large mo-cap orc (Bolg) is attacking Bofur on a bridge in Laketown. Possible material for the EE? It looks like Bofur is on his way back from the pigsty.

I'm thinking there will be an extended Laketown orc encounter in the EE that includes Bofur and some Laketown residents, as others have postulated.

That scene is actually in the film [In reply to] Can't Post

The shot of the large mo-cap orc (who is not Blog) is actually another orc who went after Bofur as he was carrying back the athelas plant for Kili.

Screenshot

That shot has made the cut into the theatrical version of DoS as the orc pulls Bofur away from scuttling over the bridge Smile

Thanks Arandir [In reply to] Can't Post

Clearly it's been too long since I last saw the film.. alas, I hesitate to purchase the theatrical version in favor of waiting for the EE to be released. The next few months will be a long wait.

At 0:05 you can see dwarves in BOFA fighting motion capture orcs (in front of green screen). Not what I was hoping for but he dwarf armour looks great, and we know Thranduil fights prosthetic orcs on the Dale set. Maybe they're sort of distinguishing between the CGI style gundabad orcs and other types?

Just thought I'd share this, I realise it's nothing new.
