How many threads do we need about this topic? Hasn't it pretty much been confirmed that all three of them are dying?

On a "Thorin lives" thread that Kili survives and marries Tauriel - LOL! Some people will believe anything, though. Much as I'd like for Kili to live, it's not gonna happen

In a COMPLETELY ORIGINAL *cough* article, the Venture Capital Post says differently - that Thorin will live. So of course will Fili and Kili. http://www.vcpost.com/...ord-of-the-rings.htm And gosh, Thorin gives Bilbo a mithril coat! And "someone" lets Bard of jail! But it is nice to keep hearing that Hobbit 3 is expected to make $$$$. These articles feel sick. As if a disease were upon them. Is there no way around? Not unless we go thousands of miles north to the PR department of Warner Brothers, or twice as far south to the great wizard Sir Peter Jackson. Who has better things to do with his time.
"Looking back on Bag End, it's...it's like we're just so innocent. We were all so happy...in that place, about to start this journey" - Richard Armitage, The Hobbit Appendices. "If this is to end in fire, then we will all burn together" - Thorin, The Desolation of Smaug.

There is no way that Peter Jackson is not going to kill off all three just like in the book. He has killed characters according the books properly so far, and it is too dramatic an ending not to cash in on. You forget that Peter Jackson started as a horror director, and if you have seen Dead/Alive, you will know he is not shy about dealing out death and destruction. So fear not these foul rumors!

The character of Kili is set up to die

He has already mentioned his mother, that he is in love, he has been hurt, he has been singing and joking... yup, he is dead. This is what you want to do with a character you're going to kill, make them relatable, make the audience feel for them. The same for Thorin, with small differences. The only one who dies in the book and isn't really set up to die by the screenwriters in the movie is Fili. I would bet on him, but... I still think they are going to kill him because they fear the fan rage
