Tolkien Name Quest Can't Post

For those with little better to do here are a few nonsensical ill-written lines wherein are hidden in plain sight 45 Tolkien “people”.
How many can you find? (Some may cross-through punctuation or sentences.)
(Example: The eye is a shinning orb aglow with radiance. (Gorbag)).

1. In this crude rude narrative some favorite people are hiding.
2. I’m listing them to-and-fro. Do look forth or instead don’t snag an answer.
3. A hero accepts this challenge and may begin or imbibe.
4. A grade-a-goldbrick may claim immunity and put a boycott on the game.
5. This may be disgusting folderol or incoherent but don’t gripe –
6. reach far, odd things may happen. Reach far, a miracle may be had.
7. Or if this seems to move ad nauseam or go thoughtlessly don’t be half
8. astonished if amid rile or rage some sense appears.
9. Our cabal insists on quality and will grab obscure clues.
10. Now, maneuver smartly and you may go far wending through these lines.
11. To excel end illogical thinking. During this attempt to excel an orderly
12. and bold man will own each name. Unto bold men go the spoils!
13. Stop ere grinning; go slow, and limber up.
14. Don’t be a rube, render, describe, or name as many as you can.
15. Or be proper and wise, have some style – go last.
16. Nonetheless are you a nobody or the best? Elevate yourself!
17. Smile. Odds are you need not be so grim.
18. A sample herein lies to test yourself at typographical searching.

Yes, Leod is one. He was the father of Eorl. Miscount, there are 47 not 45 - sorry.....Blush

Don't forget the end of a line or sentence is fair game, as a name may continue from one line to the next ie 6-7.

And Beor and Beorn counts as 2 names. Thanks for playingSmileBG

Sting I didn’t see or intend – not a “people”. Good catch though.
Wandlimb (Fimbrethil) – Yes an Entwife loved by Treebeard.

Yes, all notables – no-one extremely obscure.

You kinda caught me on that one. Hadn't intended to stray from The H, LOTR, or Sil.

But then you're still 7 short. And soo out of order! But it's results that count, eh?

Yes, my brain was certainly exercised making it up. Taught me how to write very goodly and perperly. Tongue

But "Sting" isn't a "people"... no count.Mad

[Ent] you got me thinking about this, but as the Post Subject is "Tolkien Name Quest" this could go either way. "Ent" is a "people" but not a person. Nevertheless as there are 47 total "Ent" would make it 48....

Goodness me... I tries to think of everything, I realy does.
