http://newboards.theonering.net/...i?post=745112#745112 The second paragraph is supposed to have a after the word "magic" to end the bold formatting, but instead I typed "[/b}", which just leaves junk in the middle of the sentence and the rest of the post bolded. Sorry for the mess/cleanup request! Notta
Happiness: money matters, but less than we think and not in the way that we think. Family is important and so are friends, while envy is toxic -- and so is excessive thinking. Beaches are optional. Where now the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing? Where is the helm and the hauberk, and the bright hair flowing? Where is the hand on the harpstring, and the red fire glowing? Where is the spring and the harvest and the tall corn growing? They have passed like rain on the mountain, like a wind in the meadow; The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow....

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..." Dwarves: "Pretty rings..." Men: "Pretty rings..." Sauron: "Mine's better." "Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak. Of course, that's less effective when posting on the internet as only Mrs. Notta can tell I'm emphasizing something, and the Nottettes get a little scared, but it's what I do. :)

... for deciphering the html code that I typed into the original post in this thread, forgetting of course that it would be completely invisible to the casual reader! Sigh - not my day :) Notta

...to shout at the computer screen, like I do. Talking back to foolish posts on Facebook is particularly effective. It confuses Mr. Fairbairn, who'll bellow, "Huh? What" from his own office down the hall, but it makes me feel better, anyway.
