A Fistful Of Mithril [In reply to] Can't Post

Ramon Rojo said to Joe (Clint Eastwood) that "when a man with a .45 meets a man with a rifle, the man with a pistol will be a dead man. That's an old Mexican Proverb...and it's true."

Well, it so happens that the man with the pistol won that duel.

But I suspect that when a man with a sword meets a Predator with a plasma gun and auto-targeting, the man with a sword will be a dead man. That's an old Klingon Proverb...and it's true.

Aragorn gets an early bed in The Hallows.... [In reply to] Can't Post

But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and will blow you head clean off, you've gotta ask yourself a question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?
An old Bracegirdle adage - Never bring a sword to a plasma bolt fight.

Odds would favor the Predator. [In reply to] Can't Post

Strider could pull off a suprise win if given a chance to observe the Predator's weaknesses.
