I have to give props to the dwarves, so I'll choose Moria.


However, if you want to compare it to Minas Tirith's gate as rebuilt by Gimli with steel and mithril, then, we might have a close contest.

(about Gimli).... Yes, it only took three "wacks" for Grond to smash the (original) Great Gate, so I too would pick The West Gate.

Point of little interest..

Did you ever notice that if you add an "o" to Grond you get Grondo, which might have been the name of a five-pounder used by Santa Anna at the Alamo.

Then, did you ever notice that if you rearrange the letters in "Grondo" you get "Gondor". WOW, Huh?Tongue
