Bear-Beorn flips a bright shiny jewel into the maw of Carcharoth.
While the Wolf is howling in pain Bear-Beorn sneaks back to his bee pastures.
Sometimes deviousness is the only way to win and I always liked Beorn, Bear or not.

normal Carcharoth, or the one with the Silmaril in him? If it's with the one without, he wins after a good fight, if it's the one with the Silmaril, then Carcharoth easily wins.
