CG and ADR only AFAIK [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi guys! I heard there are to be some pickups for BOFA in May! :) Does anyone have any info about them? Or know if they're looking for extras? I'm in Wellington with time on my hands... :)

CG and ADR work only to my knowledge (via both RA and other in-the-know sources close to the production). But if you have a source that reveals differently I would love to know more.

FWIW, i think May is now perilously close for logistics and scheduling busy actors and actresses.

The Shadow of Nori [In reply to] Can't Post

Again, there's always a chance that there was some Hobbit shooting around Tekapo late in March. However,

1) That photo was posted *after* he got back to Wellington.

2) The grass does not look like Tekapo grass.

3) It was posted on April Fools Day, so could be a (simple) trick.

If you look back on Jed's tweets during the last week in March, you'll see that he's tweeting Graham McTavish, Stephen J Hunter, Peter Hambleton, and Dean O'Gorman in a way that suggests they were not there. And indeed it appears they were not there:

On 27 March Graham McTavish tweeted this: "Already lucky enough to visit some stunning locations. About to head to some "absolutely sublime" ones......Photos WILL follow....". Note that he says "about to head" when Jed had already been in Tekapo a couple days. None of his other tweets suggest he was travelling.

Also, from looking at tweets, it appears that Stephen J Hunter was in Perth on 29 March, Dean O'Gorman might have been there with him, and Peter Hambleton seems to have been in Wellington.

So, again, if they were filming Hobbit material in Tekapo in late March, the question is: why would it be just Nori? Any why would he have a mustache during filming, only to quickly shave it off when he got back to Wellington?
