Of the more finished pieces, I particularly like "The coming of Earendil and the Valar", and "Thingolīs decision". I really admire how you are able to read a description of a scene and then have these unique and crystal clear imaginings of how they look! How do you do that, lol??? Do you imagine the whole scene in your mind before you start sketching, or do you start sketching and then more ideas come in? Of the sketches, I am very intrigued by "Luthien arrives" and "Beren loses his hand". The first even in sketch form begins to convey the enormity of the journey and daunting task ahead of her, and in the second seeing the scene via the reflections of Beren and Luthien in Carcharoth's eye really puts an entirely fresh spin on an event we 'think' we know. Very nicely done!
