'Expanded Edition' of The Adventures of Tom Bombadil on the way Can't Post

This was only posted yesterday so I'm not sure if anyone has brought this up already, but courtesy of the irreplaceable Wayne G Hammond and Christina Scull, TAOTB is to get an expanded edition in the same vein as Farmer Giles of Ham (the 50th Anniversary edition is coincidentally also getting a reprint) and Smith of Wooton Major:

If it's not in your Appendices, maybe it's in mine?

Great stuff! [In reply to] Can't Post

It's good to know that Tolkien's minor works are getting some attention. But the thing I ( and probably many others) are holding out for is a 60th anniversary edition of LOTR. It is, after all, this year and next year.

Yes it is great news!!, I wouldn't be surprised if a 60th Aniversary Edition is planned [In reply to] Can't Post

Or at least a reprint of the 50th Aniversary edition-which is still on sale in the shops occasionally where I live.

What I would like to see is the 3 Volume Alan Lee box, 'The Lay of Aotrou and Itroun' and The 'extended edition's' of Smith of Wooton Major and On Fairy Stories be re-released-greedy I know but they are very very hard to get hold of...

This in itself is great news though, I always felt T-Bomb has been a little neglected...

If it's not in your Appendices, maybe it's in mine?

Wonderful! [In reply to] Can't Post

To see such a resurgence of interest in the lesser-known works of Tolkien. I received the new Roverandom for Christmas, and am most delighted by it.

My old paperback Tom Bombadil from the '60s is falling apart, I think it might quite be time to procure a new one...Heart

Excellent! [In reply to] Can't Post

I can resist most of the movie stuff that's available, but I can not resist a book!

Bomby will probably First in Line to Buy "TommyTuneFull'"s Book [In reply to] Can't Post

my old copy is a Mess!

Didn't really care so much for the Drawings though...
Would rather Drew Struzan drew them.

(Drew did the Star Wars, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones Movie posters if you didn't know)

Did a search," Malikfan" & "There&ThereAgian" know him.

Bomby just saw a Documentary on Drew through Netflix
yesterday, so Check him OUT...Amazing lookSee!
