Our Fan Film Parody Can't Post

Hey everybody,

I'd like to post about our fan film parody of Lord of the Rings (well, "fellowship", really). We did it in the style of "Be Kind Rewind", where they 'Swede" films - taking something you love and remaking it in your own way. Our way was to be humorous and we've been blessed that people have been laughing at our efforts on youtube and the net. New Line even gave us a nod by linking to the youtube channel from the lordoftherings.net site, something I'm still amazed and happy by.

So take a look and enjoy. Please let me know if you like it or hate it!

Bravo! [In reply to] Can't Post

That was brilliant! I'm still laughing. Laugh I loved (A)ragorn and (B)oromir, and Gandalf's speech in Moria was a hoot. I hope you're going to do The Two Towers and The Return of the King.

Welcome to the boards! Smile

Very Cute Spoof! [In reply to] Can't Post

I liked the "flight to the ford" sequence, with (A)ragorn elbowing the Ringwraith, and the "watcher in the water", and (A)ragorn not quite being able to kiss the slain (B)oromir's forehead, and just patting it instead!
Very well done, I laughed all the way through it!

Where did you find those adorable hobbits? [In reply to] Can't Post

I loved A and B, as others have mentioned, and the clothes-dryer Watcher, and the OshKosh legs sticking out from under the Black Rider's robe. And that great background during the chase scene on horseback :-D

"For DORA BAGGINS in memory of a LONG correspondence, with love from Bilbo; on a large wastebasket. Dora was Drogo's sister, and the eldest surviving female relative of Bilbo and Frodo; she was ninety-nine, and had written reams of good advice for more than half a century."

nice. [In reply to] Can't Post

One of the VERY few parodies I actually liked. The guy playing Gandy was great!

Hilarious! [In reply to] Can't Post

Please make more! Smile

The cave troll really had me ROTFLMAO. Frodo getting smacked in the face, the slow motion sequence at the bridge of Khazad-Dum, Samwise with the donut (extended edition), "Gimme the ring you little jerk!"... Classic!
