I guess cream, or off-white. No, cream is better.
2. What color wax does Gandalf seal the envelope with the Ring before giving it to Frodo?
Red, I think. But I would likje to see the will, with it's seven signatures of witnesses in gold ink.
3. What color flights are the arrows the Elves shoot at Helm's Deep?
I don't know. White or yellow would make sense at night, as a sort of marker (like armies today use red-tipped bullets). But I can't remember noticing any colour. Maybe blue? I'll guess blue.
4. What color cloak does Haldir wear at the Battle of Helm's Deep?
Here comes the part when I wonder wether to make a rude remark, instead of an answer. But I don't know, either. In the books, Legolas is described as clad in green and brown, so that would be logical; but the Lorien cloaks are grey in the films. I'll try grey.
5. What color cloak does Éowyn wears in the Houses of Healing?
I'll go with deep blue, because that is the colour of Finduilas' cloak Faramir brought for her in 'The Steward and the King'. It would be a great homage, and if I were the producer, that's what I would do.
6. What color is the door Sam closes at the end of ROTK?
Brown, I think.
Someone I met at work discussed something which had to do with colours. He said: "Being male, and Jewish - I know nothing about those things; but it works". Being another, I concur.
PS. It's fun to be able to edit after seeing what other people answered. Well, assuming they know their movies - I didn't do as well as last week. Never mind.

I think most people around here approach quizzes and games as closed books BUT I'm an ex-educator and I always feel anything that makes you research an answer is like sneaking vegetables into a dish. It's a good thing.
So for this qame, because I am the quiz-mistress, you can go closed book (movie) or research -- whatever rocks your socks. You can do it one way first, and another way second (although, there's really only one order that makes sense). I would just suggest if you research your answer that perhaps you declare doing so.
For me, if I can only answer from memory, I'm sunk. I don't pride myself in my memory. I pride myself in being able to knowing how to retrieve and find information I need. So I can't even participate in most closed books quizzes and games. It's much more fun, for me, to research an answer. Researching is a game in itself.

Red and silver maybe? Sorry, but it's not usually his cloak I look at in his scenes....

Dark blue, but I only know this from the book...who looks at cloaks when you have Faramir on screen, especially in this scene...sigh....

Yellow, I think...though if my mascara runs when I'm crying it's brown...
