A few of my favorite things (may contain spoilers) Can't Post

In the spirit of the season...

Raindrops on Gandalf and whiskers on Kili
Bright shiny gemstones and gumption from Fili
Big nasty spiders cut up by Sting
These are a few of my favorite things

Berries on Elf-crowns and a skin-changing bear dude
Lake bells and barrels and Bombur with attitude
Dragons that fly with the gold on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things

Dwarf-kings in bathrobes tied up with sashes
Snowflakes that stay on his hair and eyelashes
Silver-white starlight discussed in the clink
These are a few of my favorite things

When the critic bites
When the review stings
When Iím feeling mad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I donít feel so bad

Of course there's more I enjoyed, but I ran out of verses. Laugh

I love it!

And I agree - I'd rather remember all the wonderful things I saw and the experience I had. So much to see.... I think I shall go again! Cool

Ha! Beautiful rhyming, Riven Delve!!! :) // [In reply to] Can't Post

"I had forgotten that. It is hard to be sure of anything among so many marvels. The world is all grown strange. Elf and Dwarf in company walk in our daily fields; and folk speak with the Lady of the Wood and yet live; and the Sword comes back to war that was broken in the long ages ere the fathers of our fathers rode into the Mark! How shall a man judge what to do in such times?"

"As he ever has judged. Good and ill have not changed since yesteryear; nor are they one thing among Elves and Dwarves and another among Men. It is a man's part to discern them, as much in the Golden Wood as in his own house."

Sweet tasty honey like molten gold flowing... [In reply to] Can't Post

Lazy day naps under Vale trees a'growing
Orc bones that splinter and snap just like twigs
These are a few of my favorite things

When the warg bites
When the bee stings
When scolded by dear ol' dad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad!

Great song, Riven!
