from the theater?

Did you see the Moon?

We played hide-and-seek in the foothills of our own mountains and chased Durin's moon home. It set through wispy clouds just as we got to our street. What a nice way to end the night, driving the 45 minutes home. I had a quiet car (kids all fell asleep) and the moon for company. Beautiful!

I love that the last light was the moon. It was such a fantastic scene.

(and yes, I know. today is not Durin's Day. Let me have my little bit of poetry though.)

Where there's life there's hope, and need of vittles.

Moon light [In reply to] Can't Post

It could only have been moonlight. That much was already clear from the first movie.
The text was only visual in moonlight, so I knew it had to be moonlight now too. That was an "open door "

YES! That moon! [In reply to] Can't Post

It was so gold and it seemed to be only about 100 feet above us it was so low! Even though it was bitter cold my BFF and I sort of stood next to the car and stared at it for a bit!

We have named it the Smaug Moon. Cool How perfect...and uncanny!

We saw it! [In reply to] Can't Post

My mother and I were driving home at 3:30 in the morning from DOS premiere and man! Was that some moon or what? Totally awesome and fitting for such a great night at a great movie!
