ďAll good stories deserve embellishment."

Praise is subjective. And so is criticism.

"I am afraid it is only too likely to be true what you say about the critics and the public. I am dreading the publication for it will be impossible not to mind what is said. I have exposed my heart to be shot at."

I liked both [In reply to] Can't Post

"I see fire" imho seems to be perfectly fitted to transferr us back to the real world... especially after that ending...

i prefer "I See Fire" myself [In reply to] Can't Post

i liked Finn's song overall but it was a tad cheesy and kinda leaned heavily on the Misty Mountains melody we had heard numerous times in the film. not that that's necessarily a bad thing, i guess, but i think i had heard the melody enough.

"I See Fire" is nicely moody and a true original.

myself humming both of them from time to time, so they pass in my book.

I really like this song... [In reply to] Can't Post

Its very mystical, mesmerizing and almost eery. the slow sad tone is a perfect contrast to the many violent, fast paced perils which stand before the company...it subtlety captures the great gravitas of the quest, while the somber sense of loss truly evokes emotions of past battles in myself. I can feel the pain and loss the dwarves, especially thorin has endured when hearing that song. It really hits the mark for me personally.
Peace.

The path of the Warrior is paved in blood, sweat, tears and ultimately death. He weeps for the fallen, bleeds for the cause, and sweats till he dies.
In memory of operation FALLEN ANGEL and the mighty Heroes of SEAL team 6, the PJ's, SOCOM aviation, and all those who fell in the Tangi Valley.
