YES FINALLY [In reply to] Can't Post

The full track!! It has a nice soft feel to it in parts that I think really speaks of elves, but then it is quite majestic too which fits an underground kingdom. And the violins are stunning, especially when they play the "Thranduil theme". I like how it feels very dark, it is that haunting beauty which I believe the woodland realm will be portrayed as. Great track!

Wink

..The Lord of Silver Fountains
.....The King of Carven Stone
..The King Under the Mountain
.......Shall come into his own

..And the bells will ring in gladness
......At the Mountain King's return
..But all shall fail in sadness
....And the lake will shine and burn

You can even hear a glimpse of Smaug's theme too [In reply to] Can't Post

It begins at 1:33. I guess this is the moment when Thranduil is saying "... to slay a dragon" or something like that. And he and Thorin are talking about Smaug for a short time. It's not obvious but you can hear it. As always when Shore does something it is perfectly connected to the tone of Thranduils theme.

Seem to be 2 new eleven themes in there [In reply to] Can't Post

There's the melody that accompanied Thranduil's appearance in the prologue, but there's another theme in there too that appears 2 or 3 times, and it sounds quite in line with the first. Maybe it's Tauriel's theme?
