How long is Regal Cinemas going to show DOS in the US?

I'm wondering how long DOS will be playing in Regal Cinemas because I'm desperately trying to find a time to go and things like Fandango only list showtimes up until Dec. 19th. Surely it's in theaters longer than that! And is it possible for every showtime on every day from the 12th to the 19th to be sold out already? Is "no passes" the same thing as "sold out"? Someone, tell me it isn't so! I'm starting to worry I wont get to see DOS at all!

No Passes usually means for the first two weeks

...you can't use coupons, etc. After a film has been out two weeks you can usually start using coupons and other 'non-paying' passes. The best way to find out how long a particular theater (or chain) is going to run a movie is to call them. Have you tried that? AUJ was in most theaters through January and well into February (especially in larger markets). It may be out of the 3-D/HFR venues by then, but you shouldn't have any problems catching it for at least 4-6 weeks after its release.

I was just trying to look at the Regal Cinemas website before I called them, but I have their phone number now and will call. I'm glad no passes doesn't mean sold out because I was freaking out a little thinking all the showtimes were sold out already. Thanks for answering my questions!

At least in my urban area. Here all the chains add and subtract theaters depending on the audience - which, I suspect, is why Fandango and other sites can only show ticket availability up to a certain point - they don't know, because the theaters don't know what they are doing - I've run into this just trying to book tickets a week ahead - theaters don't even know the weekend schedule until Wednesday. (Theaters don't care what they show, they just want butts in seats and will shuffle movies around to try to make that happen.) But I would not worry about being able to see DOS over Christmas - IMO it has no competition, personally think there will good buzz, repeat viewings, people waiting for the first frenzy to die down and seeing it later. Re the pass thing - don't know what that is but sounds like a freebie from credit card companies or whoever - I'd ignore that. Like frequent flyer miles, guess some passes are only good for the "lesser" films. Regal is a huge chain, think you will be able to see DOS thru December no problem - if not, ROAD TRIP to wherever you need to go to see it!

has been that theaters hold movies as long as those movies are making money. Gravity is still playing in theatres near me and it opened a very long time ago. AUJ lasted well into I think February around here until it finally left. SO there is no need to worry. The biggest problem I have is finding to time to see these movies more than two or three times. When a film clocks in at two and a half hours or more it's a strain on the available hours. I admire people who can find the time.
