SFX – I suppose you all know about this, Can't Post

…but thought I'd just mention that the January issue of this magazine has a Hobbit cover (actually featuring the Hobbit himself), as well as a seven-page article on the film. There are interviews with Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage and Lee Pace, and there is a a double page-spread photograph of PJ with Bilbo and the Dwarves.

Haven't had time to read it yet, so can't comment on it more than that. Smile

Thanx [In reply to] Can't Post

I don't think that anyone else has mentioned this yet.

That's fine [In reply to] Can't Post

There is always someone who missed (or has forgotten) the original reference.

Yes, like me [In reply to] Can't Post

I even responded to the original thread, but didn't actually read the article – just saw the magazine in the shops today, with SFINow, and it seemed new to me…

If it helps .... [In reply to] Can't Post

I summarise all the Hobbit Headlines on a weekly basis (bi-weekly soon), which is posted on the Main board.

Don't forget to check that weekly. I capture all the major news, including spoilers, snippets, interviews, DVD news, trailers, merchandise and so on. If it's not in that thread, then it's not worth knowing about. Wink

I've also asked on the Feedback board whether Hobbit Headlines should also be posted (or linked/advertised) on this board. If you think it would help with people keeping up to date, leave your thoughts there.

Thank you, Daniel B – that helps [In reply to] Can't Post

With threads disappearing so quickly at the moment, it might well be an idea to have the Hobbit Headlines to be posted here.

I didn't know about this [In reply to] Can't Post

In fact, I didn't even know there was such a magazine as SFX.

It would be really useful to have the Hobbit Headlines 'stickied' at the top of this forum, since it would hopefully help cut down on the number of duplicate threads... Smile

SFX has been going for years [In reply to] Can't Post

It deals mainly with science fiction and fantasy subjects, principally films, but also TV series, books and DVDs. I believe I still have some copies from the LOTR days.

It's quite a good magazine.
