A small Bofur *SPOILER* Can't Post

My DOS Movie Guide arrived in the post this morning. In the section on Bard's daughters, there is a comment that Sigrid (the elder girl) throws a bucket of water over Bofur at one point in the story! So I wonder :
Is she putting out flames? This would presumably mean that Bofur (most likely also Fili, Kili and Oin) is still in Laketown when Smaug does his stuff. If so, there'll be two groups of Dwarves both initially afraid that Smaug has flattened the other group during his rampage.
Or is Bofur just being Bofur-ish and the young lady thinks he needs quenching?

Well, she looks pretty peaceful if an attack on Laketown was happening [In reply to] Can't Post

My guess is Bofur not wanting to wake up (maybe some heavy drinking the night before) or he's just smelly.

Perhaps it was unscripted? [In reply to] Can't Post

This could just be how Peggy lets her dad know when he's bothering her.

My Top 5 Wish List for "The Hobbit"
5. Legolas will surf down Smaug's neck
4. Bilbo will be revealed to a Robot
3. Naked PJ cameo as Ghan-Buri-Ghan
2. Use of not only 3D, but smell-o-vision, plus the inclusion of axes coming out of the seats and poking the audience when appropriate
1. Not only keep the claim that Thorin & Co. ran amok in Mirkwood "molesting people", but depict said incident in vivid detail!!!!!

The only flaw in this theory [In reply to] Can't Post

is that the victim was apparently not Jimmy Nesbitt but his scale-double. Wink
It seems they didn't actually play any scenes opposite their Dad for reasons of scale, though he was around to cheer them on.

"BOTH [political] extremes are dangerous. But more dangerous are team fanboys who think all the extremists are on the OTHER side." (CNN reader comment)

It is always those with the fewest sensible things to say who make the loudest noise in saying them. --Precious Ramotswe (Alexander McCall Smith)
