Fanghorn vs Mirkwood Can't Post

Battle of the forests!

Which is grander? More majestic? Scarier? Simply put, which is the better forest?

I read the Hobbit. [In reply to] Can't Post

I remember the part with Mirkwood, and don't seem to remember any living trees. I just remember Bilbo climbing a tree to take a look. It's been awhile though.
I am looking forward to Mirkwood in the movie coming up. I also am eager to see Jackson's version of Lake-town.

I think mirkwood [In reply to] Can't Post

For obvious reasons. Some major evidence is that in TTT book, when in fanghorn forest even pippin and merry compare it to mirkwood and say how much mirkwood is worse. Just read this the other day actually and thought of this thread.
