I was wondering about that. [In reply to] Can't Post

Not sure what I said that was rude... Smile Just shrugged it off to a new member posting their first post on the wrong thread by mistake.

Interesting first impression though...

Face expressing puzzlement. [In reply to] Can't Post

Crazy?

Have no clue what could be misconstrued, I must say.

I think... [In reply to] Can't Post

it was the statement: the video doesn't do it justice

Which, to me (anyhow), means... the real thing is even better than what you can see in this picture or video.

And that is consistent with the praise you're giving it otherwise.

But I think the poster is the person who took the video (perhaps) and took it to mean, 'this video is lacking in quality'.

Perhaps just explaining to them what the phrase 'doesn't do it justice' means will suffice. I think it's your call, Dame Ioreth. Since they called you out as being rude (which is against TOS), I decided to bring it to the attention of the mods rather than engage them on your behalf. :-)

Thanks, and I agree. / [In reply to] Can't Post

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..."
Dwarves: "Pretty rings..."
Men: "Pretty rings..."
Sauron: "Mine's better."

"Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauronís master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak.

THAT is my favorite of your avatars ever Magpie. I love it. [In reply to] Can't Post

And I would guess you must be right about the particular phrase.
