My Little Ponies versus Tolkien's Little Ponies

Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie versus Sharp-ears, Wise-nose, Swish-tail, Bumpkin, White-socks, and old Fatty Lumpkin. Let's also throw in Scootaloo versus Bill. Which ponies would emerge victorious?
****************************************** The audacious proposal stirred his heart. And the stirring became a song, and it mingled with the songs of Gil-galad and Celebrian, and with those of Feanor and Fingon. The song-weaving created a larger song, and then another, until suddenly it was as if a long forgotten memory woke and for one breathtaking moment the Music of the Ainur revealed itself in all glory. He opened his lips to sing and share this song. Then he realized that the others would not understand. Not even Mithrandir given his current state of mind. So he smiled and simply said "A diversion.”

...but they're very small, and, let's face it, rather stiff. Not a lot of flexibility there - I reckon Wise nose, Swish-tail and Bumpkin could knock 'em over (we'll leave White-Socks out of this as he's probably too concerned about his footwear) then Old Fatty Lumpkin could trample them into submission. Or little pieces. And a swift kick from Bill could finish the job.

as, upon seeing each other, they promptly become fast friends and settle down to a sunny picnic on minty-fresh grass.
Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..." Dwarves: "Pretty rings..." Men: "Pretty rings..." Sauron: "Mine's better." "Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded b*****d with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak. is that Darkstone knows the names of My Little Ponies!
And suddenly the Tornadoes saw afar off a greenlight, as it were a cloud with a living heart of flame; and they knew that this was no vision only, but that PJ had made a new thing: The Hobbit, the Film that Is.

or do I mean nightmares.... my daughter had them....dozens ... each with a comb and ribbons and little accessories that would get sucked up in the vacuum cleaner. Since they are still in a box under the bed in the spare room -- or at least that's where they are supposed to be (crossing fingers that Toy Story is NOT really true) and look just as indestructible as the day they were taken from their packaging... I vote that the My Little Ponies win.

My wife has an entire room devoted to her MLP toys and collectables. I will admit to understanding the appeal of the newer, manga-style ponies.
"Darkness beyond blackest pitch, deeper than the deepest night! King of Darkness, who shines like gold upon the Sea of Chaos. I call upon thee and swear myself to thee! Let the fools who stand before me be destroyed by the power you and I possess!"

I am sad to say that My Little Ponies would win. Nothing could beat the horror.
Beware the shiny They are there to steal your heart. You must just say no. On another note, wonder what obscure holiday it is today? No? Of course you do! That is why I have created This calender to tell you! Enjoy. I take suggestions if I missed your favorite holiday.
