Frodo might have been played by ... Jake Gyllenhaal Can't Post

Jake's been quoted as saying his audition was terrible.

How different would Frodo have been if Jake had scored the role?

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..."
Dwarves: "Pretty rings..."
Men: "Pretty rings..."
Sauron: "Mine's better."

"Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauronís master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak.

Fascinating! [In reply to] Can't Post

And it's nice that he's humble enough to admit that it was a disaster! We all have bad days... Smile Doesn't seem to me that it's a role which would have suited Jake, anyway; he's a good actor, but this just doesn't seem like his kind of thing.

What business does a dwarf, a dwarf, a dwarf, a dwarf, a dwarf, a dwarf, a dwarf, a dwarf, a dwarf, a dwarf, a dwarf, a dwarf, a dwarf, and a hobbit have in the Rivenmark?

Thanks ED! [In reply to] Can't Post

I do pop by when I can - I miss the boards! But I just find the other demands on my time from TORn these days don't allow for much leisurely perusal and posting! But I'm here in spirit! Smile
