My wife adopted this little girl yesterday. "Zooey" comes home today and will be meeting "Arwen" whom we adopted last year.

super brainy! Look at those rather elf-like ears. I think she will keep you on your toes. Good for you for adopting,
I hope you have many happy years with her. Smile

congratulations [In reply to] Can't Post

congratulations on the new addition. she is beautiful and looks fully ready to be given love and to give love in return.

aka. fili orc-enshield
the scene, as i understand it, is exceptionally well-written. fili (in sort of a callback to the scene with the eagles), calls out "thorRIIIIIIN!!!" just as he sees the pale orc veer in for the kill. he picks up the severed arm of an orc which is lying on the ground, swings it up in desperation, effectively blocking the pale orc's blow. and thus, forever after, fili is known as "fili orc-enshield."

this earns him deep respect from his hard-to-please uncle. as well as a hug. kili wipes his boots on the pale orc's glory box. -- maciliel telpemairo

Zooey is about 11 weeks old; Arwen is 20 months. I'll get a pic of them together if I can get them to sit still long enough.

Her first night with her new family went well.

One more pic of the new kid:

I have an older, shorter haired version of that named Sindarin. Of course, it's a grey Elf. Though in catfancy circles that color is "blue"....

Just a pic of her makes us all smile... chuckle, chortle....

Soooo darling. Zooey looks like a cross between my two: Eliza is fluffy like that, her big bro Timothy is the same barred gray. May you and Arwen have many healthy, happy, harmonious years together!
