Mysterious Dwarf: DOS Can't Post

Not sure if anyone saw this here yet, tried looking around the boards

But who is this dwarf in-between Thorin and Bilbo?

Nori post-star hair. // [In reply to] Can't Post

My Top 5 Wish List for "The Hobbit"
5. Legolas will surf down Smaug's neck
4. Bilbo will be revealed to a Robot
3. Naked PJ cameo as Ghan-Buri-Ghan
2. Use of not only 3D, but smell-o-vision, plus the inclusion of axes coming out of the seats and poking the audience when appropriate
1. Not only keep the claim that Thorin & Co. ran amok in Mirkwood "molesting people", but depict said incident in vivid detail!!!!!

Nori [In reply to] Can't Post

He looks more dwarvish after the barrel ride and his hair is more gorgeousSmile

- Good morning.
- What do you mean? Do you mean to wish me a good morning, or do you mean that it is a good morning whether I want it or not? Or perhaps you mean to say that you feel good on this particular morning...or are you simply stating that this is a morning to be good on?

- Good evening.
- Yes, yes it is. Though I think it might rain later.

Agree, it's Nori [In reply to] Can't Post

I remember commenting when I first saw this pic, on how great Nori looks. I love how the dwarves look less comical and more serious as they get closer to Erebor, hopefully reflecting the more serious tone of the films. Can't wait to see how the others look at this stage.

I don't think... [In reply to] Can't Post

...that Nori looked "un-Dwarvish" to begin with. The hair-do was over the top, but at least he had a beard and a large nose similar to the rest of the Dwarves.

Kili, on the other hand...

Yep, Nori, looking so different [In reply to] Can't Post

Now I've seen the appendices I appreciate a lot more all the effort that went into realising the Dwarves, what an important and difficult job it was. Also, how underused most of the Dwarf actors are. They really should have given Bombur some lines.

Rebraid [In reply to] Can't Post

It looks like in Laketown Nori and the other dwarves will re arrange their hair and beards back to normal. Nori's hair looks back to normal in this screenshot to me.

Nori's hair is much more blonde than i thought. [In reply to] Can't Post

He looks great this way, btw. I really like it when the dwarves look like proper dwarves.

Glad you posted the image [In reply to] Can't Post

I'd seen it and love the deconstructed Nori, and kudos to the unsung heroes who put up great images after a very dry, dwarf-less, Bilbo-less, summer. The recent stamp images, banner, and calenders for me is like being a cat in a catnip bed. Now, where's a dwarf-full w. Bilbo and Gandalf, Thranduil and Beorn, Bard and spiders, hint of Smaug, official movie poster? (And WETA needs to sell those dwarf tunics for the rest of us.)
