That's not fair [In reply to] Can't Post

You work in a hospital and have an unfair advantage to hoarding meds before anyone else can. I will counter by getting a job at a pet food store and stock up on that, then we shall barter our surpluses in the post-zombie economy and make Adam Smith proud.

If the British don't own 20 guns per person like Americans do, they must still have weapons of some sort. Like in Shaun of the Dead. Throw old record albums at zombies? Are there a lot of those available for self-defense?

Maybe it's the guns that make it a problem, however. In Shaun of the Dead, the zombies were turned into civil servants and slaves. In The Walking Dead, the shooting and killing never ends. Just sayin. Make slaves, not war. Hmm. Will have to work on that slogan.

All's fair in the zombie apocalypse CG! [In reply to] Can't Post

I'm going to hoard lots of sedatives to knock the rest of you out too. More Chef Boyardee and Blue Buffalo for me. Shmee on bartering. Tongue

Is that why the Brits keep all those old Abby Road vinyls around? To use like Odd-Job's hat? Explains a lot.

Hmm. I'm Dale. [In reply to] Can't Post

I didn't expect that outcome. Not that I thought I was Merle either.

The problem is that no one really listens to Dale as the Voice of Reason. Maybe I'll retake the test and try to come out as Shane, the Voice of Insanity. He came closer to getting a girl than Dale did.

Dale: "Look, everyone, here's Brethil, a fellow survivor and medical expert. She's joining our group, and she's passing out pills to boost our immune system. Everyone, swallow them down."

3 days later.

Dale: "Oh, what happened? We took those pills and passed out for days, now Brethil is gone, and all of our food and weapons are gone too. How could that be? Oh, I'm certain someone came along and kidnapped Brethil and took all our valuables. Poor Brethil. We must track her down and rescue her."

Darryl: "Or eat her."

as the Voice of Insanity. Hmmm. What does THAT say about relationships?

I liked Merle. Not giving anything away here so I won't elaborate...but I have a sneaking fondness for him.

Being Merle might limit you though, in how many ice creams you could carry, and may really drag down your pinball average.

"Before she was kidnapped, that nice Brethil boosted our immune systems so the virus won't effect us." Summarily careless around walkers and everyone is bitten and dies. Moral of the story: never trust nice medical professionals.

(As usual, Darryl has it right. You should write for AMC!!!!)

I close my eyes for all the gory zombie stuff.

Sometimes my eyes are closed for half the show! (seriously)

I am so not a guts and blood gal. Some stuff can actually make me gag. But I do watch the show. I figure I'm stretching my comfort zone. :-)

I prefer my zombies funny too [In reply to] Can't Post

but I actually do watch the Walking Dead and I find I don't really mind the gore so much. I guess because it's not just about the gore. It's actually a pretty good show though I felt season 3 dragged on a bit at times. But I've grown quite used to all the zombies now and have to look away only rarely.
