What's the best eBook version of LOTR? Can't Post

I searched this question but was unable to find any threads here with answers. I have a shiny new iPad and want to put LOTR on it. I want the latest and greatest version with the most corrections. I don't really care if it's a single volume or 3 separate ones, as long as it's epub. Don't really care about artwork although it would be nice if it had maps which are legible.

There seem to be various "recent" versions out there from various publishers. Which one should I get? Harper Collins? Houghton Mifflin? Barnes Noble? Some other one?

LOTR book [In reply to] Can't Post

I personally like the 2007 Edition of Lord Of The Rings by Harper Collins publisher. But I don't have them in ebook rather in Paperback. Surely the Ebook versions use the same text than the paper editions? If so, you might want to use the edition you like most of your paper collection and purchase it on ebook.

In my experience, amazon Kindle's version is the best. [In reply to] Can't Post

The one that has all three books in one. I much prefer amazon to other ebook providers. The maps are all there, etc. That is my advice. Of course you could buy each seperate, but the best deal is to get all three of them in one. It was 18$ when I purchased mine, with the individual ones priced at 9.99$ each.
