Is it safe to say that The Hobbit toy line is cancelled? Can't Post

It's now October, and still nothing out of The Bridge Direct. Shame really, since I thought that the ones for AUJ showed a lot of promise.

Release date still October 15; Bolg "not available this Fall" [In reply to] Can't Post

The Bridge Direct confirmed last week on their Facebook page that the release date is still October 15. However, as previously posted on the Hobbit Movie board, they also had this to say about the 6" scale Bolg figure:

Quote
The 6" scale Bolg you saw at Toy Fair will not be available this Fall. The Bridge develops and plan many months ahead of time, all while trying to stay true to the source material. However, during the creative process of filmmaking, characters may change and so our toy program adapts accordingly to reflect the final vision of the film.

Thanks for the info [In reply to] Can't Post

I've been checking their facebook off and on, but It seemed they hadn't updated it since September 17th. Must be some weird Facebook thing I can't figure out.

Is it exclusive to TRU? [In reply to] Can't Post

I keep hearing a rumor wave 2 is exclusive to TRU. Is this true? And if it is, will Amazon still sell the toys? That's where I got most of them anyway.

TBD at TRU [In reply to] Can't Post

On The Bridge Direct's Facebook page, someone asked where these figures will be available, and a few hours ago TBD responded "Toys R Us."
That's all they offered. Whether we should take that as meaning 100% exclusive to TRU, both online and in stores, I'm not sure.
