Great! [In reply to] Can't Post

Really like the bilbo one from empire and from the others the one with Thorin in Lake Town! Has he got something on his head?

A large bee perhaps? A new style of hair ornament? A mistake in the printing? Questions...questions that need answering!

Isn't it just part of the yellow border? [In reply to] Can't Post

I'm surprised to see how long Nori's hair actually is! I guess that picture is sometime after the barrel escape (in Dale?). He has a proper Dwarf beard, after all.

The EMPIRE Winter Preview isn't worth getting. It has a small paragraph on The Hobbit (annoyingly called The Hobbit 2). But the article does say the film features the "poisonous Necromancer". Do they mean that literally, or metaphorically? Hmmm ...

Interesting question... [In reply to] Can't Post

Perhaps it is metaphorical? I mean, the Necromancer is not poisonous... is he?

Oh, why can't the film come out at the cinemas tomorrow!? I have questions about the film that really need to be answered!

Speaking of Nori's hair... [In reply to] Can't Post

if you want to see more of it like that, go back and watch Vlog 11. That's Jed leading the dwarvercise session with his hair hanging down just like in this photo. Perhaps now we know what scenes they were filming at the time.

I'm still anticipating the post-trilogy recap someone must make of the trilogy-long devolution of Nori's hair. Never, when the "starfish" uproar first burst out, did I think that I would so enjoy watching what happens to it over the course of an adventure. Laugh

The pictures from the article on the main page weren't showing up for me.

I am also curious what is on Thorin's head. A crown?
I don't see a shawl on Bilbo. Which pic is that?

Thorin's ridiculously manly [In reply to] Can't Post

I'm so giddy right now and feel so sorry for Kili. He was supposed to be the hot dwarf of the pack but his uncle's shadow's just too long. Just look at him. Have there ever been a manlier character in these movies? I think he trumps even Boromir. HeartHeartHeartHeart

In the Dale picture [In reply to] Can't Post

it does look like Thorin has something in his hair, but if you look above Nori's head in the Laketown picture, the same yellow smudge is there, so it's part of the border.

Whatever it is, it's certainly not a moth. [In reply to] Can't Post

It's golden and quite small...

I have no idea what it is - perhaps the Master of LakeTown or Bard, or even Bard's son, give him something?
Many riddles that need to be solved here - I really want to go to the cinema to find the answers to my questions!

Those are cool. I have a calendar on order. I'm eager to get it and see what all images they use.

Do we know if the empire magazine will be Hobbit centric again?
