A 70s rock parody (Boston, Foreplay/Long Time) in honor of Bilbo's birthday Can't Post

In honor of Hobbit Day and Bilbo’s birthday, here is a parody that I call

LEAVING THE SHIRE

To the tune of 70s rock classic Boston, FOREPLAY/LONG TIME (More specifically LONG TIME, which starts at 2:30 into the linked youtube clip.)

Lived safe such a long time,
'Tis time I should be going, yeah
The quest doesn't wait for me, the Road keeps rollin'.
Ride on, leave Bag End behind me, yeah!
I'm on the team as number fourteen,
I’ll see where fate will find me.
Wish there were comforts I could keep....

Well I'm leavin' the Shire, and my Road goes on,
It goes ever on, long after I've been gone
And I'll face what I find, until Erebor,
I start outside of my front door....

O! O Yea! Lived safe such a long time!
Lived safe such a long time!

(Guitar solo)

Well I get so forlorn when I am far from my home,
But in my mind, deep in my mind,
I have to say Goodbye, Home.
This time, the Tookishness inside me, yeah,
Is tryin' to help them regain their Kingdom that was taken,
We're comin' back to break in....

Well I'm far from the Shire, and my Road goes on,
It goes ever on, long after I've been gone,
And I'll face what I find, until Erebor,
Until we find that secret door....

O! O Yea! Road goes such a long time!
Road goes such a long time!

(Guitar solo)

Yea, 'tis been such a long time,
This Road where we've been going, yeah!
And time doesn't wait for me, it keeps unfoldin’!
Durin's Day, we've got to stay on time with.
The doorway keyhole at the last beam.
Though we may never find it,
The treasure lies behind it.

Well I'm far from the Shire, my Road goes on
Far from the Shire, goes ever on
Far from the Shire, yeah I'm far from the Shire
Far from the Shire, but I'll come back again....
