Stone Giant versus Gamera The Invincible Can't Post

Gamera, the jet-propelled giant turtle:

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Sometime hours and hours hence:
In The Green Dragon two ales could buy
And drank the one less filling I
And that has made all the difference.
- The Ale Less Filling, by Robert Frostymug

Hmmm. [In reply to] Can't Post

I don't think Gamera's claws would do much against stone. And I don't think that godawful shriek would bug them.

But with that hard shell, their blunt attacks might not do much either. The only tie breaker would be if the Stone Giants got Gamera pinned and squooshed his reptilian head.

Barring that it may be a draw; in which case they flatten the Misty Mountains and go to Denny's.

Is there a Tolkien topic that you have wanted to look into more deeply, and write about your thoughts on it? If so, we'd like to hear from you for the next TORn Amateur Symposium- coming in November. Happy writing!

I dunno... [In reply to] Can't Post

Gamera has my vote. Because he is friend to children. Wink

Even if all the world
Became your enemy
I will protect you so
You just be there smiling
