Depends on when this battle takes place... [In reply to] Can't Post

before the Rings journey, I'd bet on Merry for sure. But Pippin grows during this trip. I'd say the journey levels the playing field in every respect.

Definitely...Merry. I think Pip's appetite would get him in the end Tongue

I know your face...My eyes darken.
No. No. I'm going to save you.

Well... [In reply to] Can't Post

I think they'd start fighting, But it'd be time for their second breakfast so they'd start to eat and forget the whole thing even happened. Therefore making the whle scenario implausible.
But that's just my opinion.

You know youre cool when...
-You have a nerd-spasm just because you walk by your lord of the rings extended edition DVDs.
-You cry at the end of return of the king even though you've seen it about 13 times.
-You check TOR.n for updates when you should be doing your geography project.
-You would rather have Richard Taylor's autograph than Merryl Streep's.
-You doodle Treebeard in the margins of your math homework.
But if that's what I'm like... well than too bad for normal people!

Even the wisest cannot tell... [In reply to] Can't Post

It seems to me like Merry is more on the fighting side and Pippin does more of the nice things like saving Foromir. But, Pippin does kill the orc that was going to stab Gandalf in ROTK. Sure, it isn't the Whitch King but Pippin also wasn't put in the situation to help kill it but Merry was... They both seem to be fighting equally hard in the diversion battle. But that is probably revenge for Froto's "death".
So, I guess I don't know. Crazy
