After seeing Erebor in the prologue, does anyone else hope we get plenty of glimpses of the ruined city?

After seeing Erebor in the prologue, does anyone else hope we get plenty of glimpses of the ruined city? Can't Post

We know we'll be seeing the large "treasure room" where Smaug spends his time, but the prologue hinted at an enormity to the city that I hope is exploited! The few glimpses we got in AUJ's prologue only left me wanting more.

Me too! [In reply to] Can't Post

It'd be great if we get some scenes of the dwarves exploring the ruins when they get in, beyond the treasure room. Someone else had commented a while back that it would be pretty moving to see Thorin and Balin visiting to their old homes, I'd really like to see that.

Younger dwarves [In reply to] Can't Post

I agree that it will be very moving to watch Thorin's return. I'm also looking forward to seeing the reactions of some of the younger dwarves as they see Erebor for the first time, the mighty kingdom they have grown up imagining. I can see Balin nostalgically retelling a little of the history and splendour as they walk through the ruined rooms.

TaBA? [In reply to] Can't Post

I don't think that we'll get beyond Smaug's lair until There and Back Again. That is when the Dwarves will be exploring the rest of Erebor and searching for the Arkenstone.

We've already seen it... [In reply to] Can't Post

...in the vlogs. The dwarves go through a ruined Erebor. They are wearing the clothes they get from the men in Laketown. It's charred and I believe there was a skeleton in the background. Anyone recognize the vlog I'm talking about?
