One by one they faded, and fell into shadow...

One book to rule them all
One book to find them
One book to bring them all
And in TORn bind them
In the land of TORnadoes...where the brilliant play

Wow - that hardly looks real! [In reply to] Can't Post

Thanks Kel.

Is there a Tolkien topic that you have wanted to look into more deeply, and write about your thoughts on it? If so, we'd like to hear from you for the next TORn Amateur Symposium- coming in November. Happy writing!

From hell's heart I stab at thee! [In reply to] Can't Post

With my last breath I spit at thee...

Naw, I don't mean that. You're all right, Migaloo... for a white whale.

(I bet he's got no rhythm.)

Wonderful hey? :-) [In reply to] Can't Post

Every time we think we have Ol Ma Nature pipped, she throws something like Miggie at us Cool

I live on the coast on the western side of Oz, so we often see the Southern Right Whales on their migrations to and from their birthing grounds, from our local beach. As we live on a huge bay, the mothers often stop along here to let their calves rest and feed. It's magical standing on land and watching them play EvilHeart

There's also a large pod of Doplhins that call the bay home, which led to the Dolphin Discovery Centre being opened.

It's not a bad part of the world to live Smile

I've seen humpback whales [In reply to] Can't Post

from a schooner off the coast of Newfoundland, just outside of St John's. It was amazing to watch them wave their tails and fins.
