Whats Radagasts business at Dol Guldur ?! Can't Post

I mean, what is he supposed to do ?! In the shots of the trailer and especially the vlog, Gandalf faces/fights and follows Thrain alone through the old fortress....

-kinda "Bodyguard" for Gandalf ?!
-involved in the investigation as well? If yes,how far?
-could he even face Bolg there first ?
-as rumored, could he die there ?

What you think about it ?

Radaghast won't die, definetley not I'm DOS [In reply to] Can't Post

He is also in the casting for TABA. And if DOS will host the battle of Dol Guldur, then Radaghast definetley won't die in any case.

I think he is the lookout, incaseof backup, and the aiding and albeiting get away. [In reply to] Can't Post

At a guess and kinda hope, he keeps a watch. If he sees lightning and flame leaping up, as is Gandalf's way, the way Aragorn and Frodo saw it on Amon Sul when Wizard fought Wraiths, he either comes in to lend support or readies the rabbits.

He can't leave Gandalf alone [In reply to] Can't Post

Not after his incident with the Nazgul and the Necromancer. Gandalf may not believe him completely but Radagast is not a type of person to leave Gandalf to his fate and return to his animals in Rhosgobel. We can only guess what will happen with Radagast but I believe his presence is vital in some way and cannot be ignored. Perhaps he will save Gandalf, perhaps he will discover something interesting, but it is natural that both wizards travel there since they are both interested in what is going on.

Staff [In reply to] Can't Post

Its just interesting how they are going to handle that Gandalf gets Raddys Stadt. Especially WHY ?! I mean, his staff is also very important for himself so there must be something "huge" to happen...
I still believe that the "unexpected opponent" for Bolg will be Radagast, while Gandalf has his deal with Thrain, some of the Nazgul or even the Necromancer himself.

Maybe he finds a big amount of dead animals there which makes him going really mad since we know how he loves the animals from Mirkwood.
