Spectacular indeed! [In reply to] Can't Post

But watch out for the traffic lights. This pic and the text popped up on my FB page this morning.

Stop says the red light, go says the green
Wait says the yellow light, twinkling in between

KNEEL, SAYS THE DEMON LIGHT
WITH ITS EYE OF COAL
SAURON KNOWS YOUR LICENSE PLATE
AND STARES INTO YOUR SOUL

They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters; These see the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep.

Another I'd add to that list is the Ring of Kerry in Ireland. [In reply to] Can't Post

Rugged and beautiful, that was.

But yes, the Milford Road is the most jaw-dropping place I've been to - I felt like the mountains around us were the bones of the earth. Two other NZ roads to travel are Haast-Queenstown, and down the South Island's West Coast.

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..."
Dwarves: "Pretty rings..."
Men: "Pretty rings..."
Sauron: "Mine's better."

"Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauronís master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak.

It's easy! [In reply to] Can't Post

My photos are on Photobucket, and nowadays if you're looking at one of your albums, they show on the side some options, and all you do is click on one and it copies all the html into your clipboard. Then all you need to do is paste it. For example, here's my visit to Hobbiton:

'Wild About New Zealand' [In reply to] Can't Post

is a new series that just started here this week. It is looking at National Parks around New Zealand: their history, natural flora and fauna, and the future of the parks.
Here is a short promo for the series.

They kicked it off with an episode about Fiordland National Park, which I enjoyed very much.

Here is a link to the episode on TVNZ on demand. I have a feeling, though, that it may not be available to people outside NZ. Hopefully I am wrong. It would definitely be worth looking out for the series in the future.

Alas, no. [In reply to] Can't Post

At least, not in US. With any luck it'll turn up on Netflix of some such, because I'd love to see it!
