Has one of Erebor's dwarves been decapitated? Can't Post

Looking at the DoS poster and noticed it looks like one of the dwarves is missing his head - reflecting the loss of Thror. Do you think this is the intention? And will it be acknowledged in the film?

I'd also like to bring up the point in the trailer, that they scale these dwarves like a weird staircase to get to the secret door. It's an interesting touch.
