I am SMAUG! I kill when I wish! I am strong, strong, STRONG!
My armor is like tenfold shields! My teeth like swords! My claws, spears!
The shock of my tail, a thunderbolt! My wings, a hurricane! And my breath, death!

That's awesome, but having owned lots of rabbits, it doesn't really surprise me. [In reply to] Can't Post

Rabbits, especially bucks, can be very territorial and pushy about anything that invades said territory. The funniest part is that the sheep run away from him. Laugh

We had a rabbit who waged a daily duel with our huge Pekin drake who must have weighed twice what he did. He would hide out of sight until the drake was looking the other way, then run out and ram him from behind, knocking him over. The drake would then scramble up and chase him back to his hideout with neck stuck out and beak wide open, tripping over everything in the way because his head was so far in advance of his feet. If he caught him, he would grab the rabbit by the scruff of the neck and stomp on him, until the rabbit wriggled free and made his escape and once again lie in wait. This went on for months, until one day the rabbit got too good a kick in and gave the drake a cut in his side, so we decided to separate them lest it escalate to serious injury. Up until that point it was all high comedy and we used to take lawn chairs out to watch the fun.

Men: "Pretty rings..."
Sauron: "Mine's better."

"Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak.

''Them rabbits are a caution Mert, better lookie out!''

" 'Fair lady Goldberry!' said Frodo at last, feeling his heart move with a joy that he did not understand. He stood as he had at times stood enchanted by fair elven-voices; but the spell that was now laid upon him was different: less keen and lofty was the delight, but deeper and nearer to mortal heart; marvellous and yet not strange."

Chapter VII: In the House of Tom Bombadil; FOTR's

Faerie contains many things besides elves and fays and besides dwarfs, witches, trolls, giants or dragons; it holds the seas, the sun, the moon, the sky; and the earth, and all things that are one in it: tree and bird, water and stone, wine and bread, and ourselves, mortal men, when we are enchanted."
