Asking for a 3rd opinion

Asking for a 3rd opinion Can't Post

I thought I was being diplomatic and not too pushy about keeping the RR insult-free (though I feel very strongly about the issue), but the other person seemed offended. I don't want to be pushing people away. Would you mind letting me know if I went over the line? Thanks.

PS> It's rather ironic I asked them to not be negative, but they complained that the place is so negative. That's why I'm a bit perplexed. Or maybe it's just a Monday and my brain hasn't woken up yet, and I'm perplexed by everything.

Thanks CG. [In reply to] Can't Post

I've done some tidying up.

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..."
Dwarves: "Pretty rings..."
Men: "Pretty rings..."
Sauron: "Mine's better."

"Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauronís master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak.
